Sometimes we need time and space to pause and notice what is getting in the way of our happiness, creating anxiety, or causing us to repeat the same unhelpful behaviours. A space to make sense of things, feel listened to and listen to ourselves.
ABOUT ME
I am a Psychodynamic psychotherapist working in the NHS and private practice. As an accredited member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and member of the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapist (TSP). I work within their codes of professional practice and ethical guidelines. I work online and in-person and have several years’ experience supporting a range of people from different backgrounds on their journey to better mental health.
Alongside my psychotherapy practice I consult, speak and create art projects, focussing on mental health with a particular specialism in Black men. I have been commissioned by organisations including UNESCO, the Wellcome Trust, Kings College London and Science Gallery.

Initial consultation
To begin with, you will have a 90-minute consultation. In this meeting I will learn more about you and we will think about why you are seeking psychotherapy. You will get a sense of how I work and have an opportunity to ask questions about the therapy.
Psychotherapy sessions
Following this initial consultation the psychotherapy will commence.
Each session will be for 50 minutes. Usually, we will meet at a regular time each week. Once agreed I will commit to keeping this time available for you each week. This does mean that I will charge for missed and cancelled sessions. There will be no charge when I am on annual leave.
